Bill Mullins, Vi's husband, a longtime member of our club, died on September 25, 2014. He had been ill a very long time. Bill was a Pearl Harbor survivor and later worked for the defense industry in Southern California, designing the radar for the F-15 fighter. He and Vi were very active in our club and in Democratic politics throughout California. Our condolences and thoughts go to Vi and to all of Bill's family and many friends. Bill was 93 years old.

Bill and Vi stood on the grassy median on Hawthorne, at Artesia, along with supporters on every corner. Most of the cars that drove by honked in support of universal health care.
